Competition Policy Statement

“Legal Counsel for The All India Glass Manufacturers' Federation (“Association”) reminds all the Association members that it is the policy of the Association, and it is the responsibility of every member company of the Association, to comply in all respects with Competition Act, 2002, as amended, (“Competition Act”). No activity or discussion at any of the Association meetings, meetings of the Committees, or in other function may be engaged in for the purpose of bringing about any understanding or agreement among members to (a) raise, lower or fix prices of goods or provision of service in any manner; (b) regulate or limit production of goods or provision of services; (c) allocate markets amongst competitors; (d) encourage boycotts or bid collusively; (e) foster any anti-competitive practices in terms of the Competition Act; (f) engage in abuse position of dominance, or (g) in any way violate the Competition Act.

Any questions regarding the meaning or applicability of this policy, as well as any concerns regarding activities or discussions at Association meetings, should be promptly brought to the attention of the Association’s Chairman or Secretariat.
